This course will provide an overview of the main ideas within each of the New Testament books. It will examine issues of canon, authorship, date, integrity, purpose, and provenance for each book. This content will be examined with attention to the church as well as the academy. At the end of this class, students will know the key introductory issues for New Testament books, historical background information, and main ideas found in each New Testament book. It will provide the basis for further New Testament study
